We are a not-for-profit organization. We are not a nonprofit corporation – a 501(c)3. Therefore, donations to the Reunion are not tax deductible.

Three days. The Reunion starts with a Golf Tournament on the morning of Sept. 20, 2024. The Banquet takes place the evening of Saturday, Sept. 21. There will be additional events during the weekend that will be announced soon.

Yes. There will be some (Re)Meet-and-Greets that are free to attend. Drinks and food will be available at an additional charge. We’ll be adding details to the website as they become finalized.

Banquet FAQ's

The Reunion Banquet takes place on Saturday, Sept. 21 at the Governor’s Gun Club in Kennesaw, GA. The event is being held in the Banquet Room, which has its own entrance. Cocktails start at 6:00 p.m. and the evening will wrap up at 10:00 p.m.

Tickets are on sale now. Through July 31st, the cost of a ticket is $88. On August 1st, the price increases to $100 per ticket.

Tickets will be available only from this website. Sales will stop at midnight on Sept. 8, 2024. You may purchase tickets using your credit card, debit card, PayPal, or Venmo. To purchase tickets, visit the Tickets page.

Yes. The Reunion website is a secure website, meaning that any information you enter here is encrypted so that hackers can’t steal it. We don’t save your credit card information on the Reunion website. However, the company that processes your payment (PayPal) does retain your credit card information. They are a highly respected company and have the best security in place for confidential information.

Unfortunately, we cannot sell tickets at the door. We must give the facility the exact headcount of attendees two weeks before the Banquet. So, for that reason, we cannot sell tickets at the door.

Yes. Until Sept. 10th at midnight, you can request a refund by email. In a few weeks after the reunion, you’ll receive a check for 75% of the ticket(s) purchase price. We cannot refund the processing fee because that money is paid to the credit card processing company at the time of the sale. To request a refund, click the following link and compose your request. Be sure to include your full name and the number of tickets you want a refund for.

The suggested attire is business casual to semi-formal. So, feel free to dress up as much as you like!

Yes. The bar is located in the Banquet Room, so you won’t miss a thing when you need a refill. The bar serves wine, mixed drinks, bottled beer, and has several draft beers on tap. The bar accepts cash as well as debit/credit cards.

Yes, there is a dance floor in the Banquet Room, and we’ll have a DJ playing the greatest hits from our high school and junior high school days.

No, the Governor’s Gun Club’s kitchen is not an allergy-free environment. Their kitchen uses wheat, eggs, soybeans, milk, peanuts, tree nuts, fish, and shellfish.

No. The facility has several gun ranges in one part of the building, but it also offers a lovely private Banquet Room, complete with a bar and a dance floor. In case you’re concerned about seeing or being around guns, the banquet room has its own entrance, and you won’t see or hear guns in the Banquet Room.

However, when walking to the restrooms, you must pass the retail store, which has guns on display. The retail store closes at 8:00 p.m.

Hotel FAQ's

The host hotel is the Embassy Suites Kennesaw located near Town Center Mall. Each room is actually two rooms – a bedroom with a 55” TV and a sitting room with a sofa, table and chairs, and a 55” TV. The hotel also features a complimentary hot breakfast and evening reception.

Yes. Visit the Hotel page on this website, and click on the registration link, which will automatically apply our discount. The cost per king suite with our discount is $169, plus taxes and fees.

The Wheeler discount is good from Thursday night, Sept. 19 through Sunday night, Sept. 22.

To register, you can call 770-420-2505 and ask to make a reservation in the Wheeler High School 50th Class Reunion group. Or you can go to the Hotel page of this website and click the link to register. The link tells the hotel to give you the discount. The deadline for making a reservation and getting the discount is Sept. 1, 2024.

If we have ten or more rooms booked at the hotel, the Embassy Suites will provide a complimentary shuttle between the hotel and the Governor’s Gun Club where the Banquet will be held.

Golf FAQ's

The Golf Tournament will be held Friday, Sept. 20, 2024 at the beautiful Golf Club at Bradshaw Farm in Woodstock, GA. The first tee time is 9:30 a.m., so you probably want to arrive at 9:00 a.m. or earlier.

Women and men who attended Wheeler, plus their partners, are eligible to play.

Green fees are $58 per person including the golf cart. Range balls are extra. Fees will be due the morning of the tournament and paid to the Golf Club At Bradshaw Farm.

To register, go to the Golf Tournament page of this website, and click on the link to send an email to register. There is no upfront fee to register. Be sure to include the names of others you’d like to partner with.

Misc. FAQ's

At our age and physical/medical conditions, it is not recommended.  Giving an accurate description of the “streakee” will result in different eye-witness accounts due to prescription eyewear strengths and excess body masses shifting as the “streakee” moves through the crowd.
